1827 Benares – Calcutta inland entire, with Benares Giles 3 "BENARES/18../POST PAID" despatch handstamp, "Sultanpore" (written from there), date "17th June 1827" & "Pt Pd 8as" (written on front side, indicating 8A paid by the sender for the single letter rate, as not exceeding 1 Tolah wt.) applied in manuscript. Reached Calcutta on 25th June, and there Giles G9 "CALCUTTA/GPO/25 JU 25/1827" receipt & "PM" delivery time mark applied.
