BAREILY DATESTAMP & BLACK INDIA OVAL; 3 May 1838 EL (crosswritten) 'by First Steamer/via Bombay' and 'Post Paid to Bombay' to England with framed "BAREILY/[DATE]/Paid" d.s. on rear in purple - only known in 1838 with oval "INDIA" h.s. in black on front also only known for nine months, prior to being used in red.
