India, Allahabad, 1845, "ALAHABAD/184_ JUNE 8/PAID" Framed Datestamp (Giles 5). Exceptionally bold strike in red with manuscript "6" rate added on back of cover to Calcutta, framed "AM" handstamp, red Calcutta (Jun. 14) arrival backstamp, accompanied by original contents, Extremely Fine strike, the Allahabad strike is earlier than that recorded in Giles (1846-50)
