Clear and mostly complete strike in red with manuscript "14th April 1827, 13 As pd to Madras" date and rate beside on back of folded letter to London, England, red framed "INDIA LETTER/PORTSMOUTH" handstamp (Robertson In. 3), Madras Out Station Ship Letter (Apr. 19) and Madras (Apr. 19) transit and London (Oct. 2) arrival datestamps, cover with some minor edgewear and strong vertical file fold, Fine strike
