India, Tellicherry, 1823, "TELLICHERRY/POST PAID/Rs As" Framed Handstamp (Giles 1). Mostly complete and bold strike with manuscript "7th Decr 1823" date and "(As) 15 " rate markings on back of folded letter to Bombay, cover with some minor internal splitting along folds and few toned spots, still Fine strike, noted as "scarce" by Giles
