India, Seringapatam, 1814, "POST FREE/SERINGAPATAM" Oval Handstamp (Giles 4). Legible strike in red with manuscript "18th April 1814" date added on back of folded letter to " Lieutenant Graw, Commanding the Residents Escort, Mysore", manuscript "Service" and endorsed, cover with slight overall soiling, minor splitting along folds, and large tear on front panel, otherwise Fine, noted as "rare" by Giles
