Entire from Pondicherry Dt. 6 JUIL 1855 'BUREAU DE PONDICHERRY' in double circle Gile Type 13(1858-62 ) in black. The Red 'PD' in box for letters postage paid to destination. 'PP' in manuscript indicates the postage paid by the sender. This letter went by Steamer 'Fammin' via Marseille. The transit mark in red and also in black on the back of the cover indicates the routes and delivered in Bordeaux on 15 AOUT 55. Transit time 50 days.
