Description
1852 (May 28) Small letter from Muctul to Hyderabad, exhibiting the only known copy of the “MUCTUL Bearing” handstamp, unrecorded by Gilles, paying ½ anna domestic rate with address written in English, Urdu, and Hindi. Muctul postmark struck in black and with date inserted in ms, also a private black seal stamp in Urdu. A very decorative and interesting letter.
