Jeggumpettah
Jaggampeta (recorded as Jeggumpettah) is a town in the Konaseema–East Godavari country of Andhra Pradesh, a market settlement of the fertile Godavari delta hinterland. Administered within the northern Madras Presidency, it served as a mofussil post office. Its pre-1854 markings trace the overland mail of the Godavari districts of the northern Circars.
