1852 : Entire folded letter from Marseille, France to Coringhy, redirected to Injeram then to Cocanada and back to Injeram via Bombay, handstamped with ‘MARSEILLE/9/OCT/52' double circle red despatch stamp. Also stamped with 'BOMBAY/NO 6 1852/STR-POSTAGE 8/INLD. DO. 10' - value in script - unframed in black - GILES TYPE SR6 RECEIPT STAMP, 'INJERAM/17-11-52/BEARING' - DATE IN SCRIPT - UNRECORDED IN BEARING BY GILES & RECORDED AS 'INGERAM' NOT 'INJERAM' in this cover, 'COCANADA/18 - 11-52/BERAING' - DATE IN SCRIPT - GILES TYPE SUPPLEMENT - 2 and another 'INJERAM/22-11-52/BEARING' - bearing stamp in black UNRECORDED BY GILES, along with, 'BOMBAY/G.P.O./JA13/1853' unframed black Bombay G.P.O. stamp - GILES TYPE G4. And boxed 'P.P.' cachet in red. VERY SCARCE INCOMING MAIL.
