India, Chittoor, 1830, "CHITTOOR/POST PAID" Circular Handstamp (Giles 3). Bold strike with manuscript "13th February 1830" date and "A 5" rate added on back of folded letter to London, England, framed "INDIA LETTER/DOVER" handstamp (Robertson In. 2) just affected by opening tear, Madras Out Station Ship Letter (Oct. 15) transit and London arrival backstamps, manuscript "1/-" rate marking, cover with minor stained file fold thru Chittoor marking, otherwise Very Fine
