Mostly complete and strong strike of red oval handstamp on folded letter with manuscript Mar. 27, 1815 despatch, addressed to Mrs. de Havilland in Bangalore, postage paid noted as "4½f", cover with ink erosion and some tape repairing splits, otherwise a Fine strike, noted as very scarce by Giles
