1843 (15 Mar.) entire letter from Alleppey to Bordeaux overland via Bombay, with "india" oval and "paquebots/de la/méditerranée" h.s. on face; "aleppee/Paid" framed h.s. (HG 2) in red on reverse, with additional endorsement "P.P. to Bombay A10" and "Steam postage A9", also Marseilles transit (3 May) and Bordeaux arrival (5 May).
