PORTUGUESE INDIA, "P. BRIT." Handstamp. Two similar folded letters from Goa to Arrayolos, Portugal, first datelined Dec. 20, 1859 and sent unpaid with red "Goa" double-framed handstamp and "150" reis rate handstamp, second datelined Oct. 20, 1860 and sent prepaid with red "Goa P.P." and "Pagou 150 reis" notation with "Franca" handstamp, both with "P. BRIT." boxed handstamp, unpaid cover with minor flap flaw affecting Goa marking, still Very Fine and scarce pair, the "P. BRIT." handstamp was used instead of the "Por Alexandria" handstamp
