Burma The Early Circular Datestamps Rangoon 1854 (26 June) envelope to Aberdeen written from Thayetmyo and showing framed "india", the reverse with fine "rangoon/185/June" d.s. in black (Type PS2), transit framed "calcutta/g.p.o./shipletter" (12.7), London c.d.s. (29.8) and arrival (30.8) c.d.s. A fine and rare cover still with original letter included. Notes: The envelope, sent from Thayetmyo was not postmarked until it reached Rangoon because no other Post Offices had opened yet in the newly annexed Pegu province.
