x Burma Early Letters and Handstamps 1838 (6 Jan.) entire letter from Kyouk Phyoo to Scotland showing a very early use of the framed "kyouk phyoo/Paid" h.s. in brown dated in manuscript and completed for 13a. and, on reverse, framed "akyab/paid" in black (one of only two recorded examples), framed "calcutta/g.p.o./ship letter" d.s. and "india letter/margate", both in red; the entire with overall soiling though a very rare cover.
