Description

Burma The "Bearing" and "Paid" Datestamps Kyouk Phyoo 1845 (18 Oct.) entire from Lower Tooting, Great Britain addressed to Capt. John Clarks at Kyouk Phyoo endorsed By Steamer via Southampton and Calcutta showing London despatch d.s., and on the reverse Calcutta (9.12) c.d.s. The letter was prepaid 1/- until Calcutta and was charged 8a. on arrival showing framed kyuk phyoo/Bearing h.s. (Type PS2). A fine and scarce letter.
