COVER WITH "B/5" OCTAGON & RED BOXED "AKYAB/SHIP LETTER" D.S.; 3 July 1859 ½a Blue EL (ordering sherry & beer; flap half removed & the other half cut for display) from "Akyab" to Calcutta "Per [Ship] Baltic" with the embossed stamp cancelled by sender's manuscript "Stamped" and a fair "B/5" Akyab Octagon, but also having a very fine rare red boxed "AKYAB/SHIP LETTER/PAID" d.s. with v. fine orange-red boxed "CALCUTTA/SHIP LETTER/PAID" d.s. both nicely placed on the lower flap.
