AKYAB - 2a GREEN ON INGOING COVER EX CALCUTTA "PER [SHIP] NAIAD" VIA KEDGEREE; 16 April 1855 commercial E from Calcutta (firm's cachet on front and fine red "CAL/G.P.O." 2-ring cds on top flap) to "Akyab" endorsed "Per Naiad proceeding from Kedgeree" franked by India 2a Green Imperf. (near 4m; faults at top right) tied by the Calcutta dotted diamond cancel, also having a mainly very fine scarce boxed "AKYAB/18[55/4/30/Bearing [1A]" d.s. nicely placed on the top flap.
