Burma The "Bearing" and "Paid" Datestamps Akyab 1834 (April) large part of entire from Akyab addressed to Masulipatam showing on the reverse fair strike of the akyab/postpaid handstamp (type PS1) with adjacent transit Madras (16.5) and Calcutta (20.5) c.d.s. A few faults including peripheral sign of burns and tears, nevertheless a great rarity being the earliest recorded handstamp from Burma and one of only four known example of this strike.
