Entire posted from Sagor on 22nd January 1844 to Calcutta with "Sagor/Paid" HG2 cancellation in red with postage of 10 Anna's paid along with Calcutta GPO and "AM" delivery marks. Excellent contents addressed to Major Owley regarding the conditions of the British army and other factors influencing the soldiers.
