Saugor: 1822 (21 Sept.) entire (sma1l fault on face panel) to Suffolk showing, on reverse, a good strike of the sma1l circular "posr/oprrcE/sAucoR" (HG 1) with light Calcutta G.P.O. c.d.s. in red alongside, Calcutta G.P.O. c.d.s. and India Letter Portsmouth h.s. on face; also a similar, slightly overinked, strike of the same handstamp in black-brown on sma-11 narive envelope. Photo for first d150_200 Note: Further examination oJ the handstamps on the above two couers hds lcd to the uiew that thk handstamp was useil at Saugor in Central India and not in Bengal
