INDIA, Rajkote, 1847, "RAJCOTE/1847 JUNE 12/Paid" Datestamp (Unrecorded in Giles). Clearly struck three-line datestamp with manuscript "6 as" added on back of 1847 folded letter to Henley-on-Thames, England, forwarded to Baden, Germany, sender's directive "via Southampton, Post paid, to be forwarded", "INDIA PAID" boxed handstamp, London (Aug. 6), Henley-on-Thames (Aug. 7), London (Aug. 9), and Boulogne (Aug. 11) datestamps, variously rated, Very Fine, a scarce postmark, unrecorded by Giles and forwarded to a particularly rare destination
