Description
Poona: 1853 (15 Aug.) soldier's entire letter (slight splitting around edges) to Ireland, countersigned by the C.O. and showing a good strike of the scarce oval framed "POONAH/date/FREE" in red (HG 11), also British "2" charge handstamp etc. An attractive military item.
