A local folded letter sent from KHANGAUM, a village/town in the Central Provinces on the 23rd February 1855, with the post office handstamp in black “Bearing 2As.” Addressed to Jaulnah, a village in the Aurungabad District, Hyderabad State. The letter has the Jaulnah Bearing stamp with the date 25th February 1855. This type of stamp (HG Type 6) was in use from 1850-1854 when this type of stamp was superseded in 1858 by the circular handstamp.
