The Dhurrungaum HG 1 handstamp
Dhrurrungaum is situated 21°1' N and 75°16' E, in East Kandesh District, Bombay Presidency. Centre of considerable trade in cotton and oilseed. Came into British hands in 1818, with the defeat of the Peshwa. Here from 1825 to 1830, Lieut. (Later Sir James) Outram trained the Bhils into an irregular corps.
