Clear strike in red with manuscript "3 Septr. 1850" date and "6 as" rate added on back of cover to Androssan, Scotland, sender's directive "via Calcutta per Oriental via Marseilles" , red framed "INDIA" handstamp, Calcutta and London transit and Androssan (Oct. 21) arrival backstamps, cover with some edgewear, Very Fine, few examples of this Sumbulpore postal marking are recorded
