India, Pooree, 1838, "POOREE/FREE" Oval Handstamp (Giles Unrecorded). Bold strike in red with manuscript "2nd May 1838" date added on back of official folded letter to "P. DaCosta" in Calcutta, manuscript "Service" and countersigned at bottom left, red framed "PM" handstamp, partial red Calcutta arrival backstamp, cover with file fold thru marking and overall toning, Very Fine strike, presumably very few (if any) other examples exist as this is unrecorded in Giles
