Description

Kedgeree: 1832 (10 Mar.) entire letter (seal missing) from Rangoon to Calcutta "pr Schr. Thistle" showing boxed "KEDGEREE/POST OFFICE/SHIP LETTER" (HG S3) and oval "KEDGEREE/POST OFFICE" with date in manuscript, very good strikes and a rare combination of the handstamps; also (HG 16a) and (HG SR22) struck on arrival.
