Excellent strike applied in transit on folded letter datelined and written in French on Jul. 4, 1826, originating in Europe and addressed to "Captne de la Ninon a Calcutta" , clear strike of "Inld Ptg/Ship Do" handstamp (Giles SR9a) with manuscript "5/2 (=) 7" rate added, Calcutta (Nov. 10) arrival backstamp (affected by opening), Very Fine and choice strike of the Kedgeree marking
