India, Diamond Harbour, 1844, "DIAMOND HR/Bearing" Framed Handstamp (Giles 3, 2000 Supplement). Clear strike with manuscript "29 Jany 1844" date and "1 as" rate added on back of folded letter datelined in "Moyapore", addressed to Calcutta, faint Calcutta arrival backstamp, cover with soiled vertical file folds which affect postal marking, Fine and quite scarce
