1834 : H.G. 8a : Unrecorded : Entire letter from DACCA to CHERAPUNJEE to an Officer in BENGAL Engineers. Inland postage 6 as. & Ship postage 3 as. Plus CALCUTTA to CHERAPUNJEE postage 4 as. Totaling 13 as. Prepaid at DACCA.This handstamp: A very rare DP.O. applied at exchange point between Military and Civilian Post Offices. Giles recorded two different postmarks under no. 7&8, however this differs from the both having dot after DP, as well as the size of the oval being 31 × 20 mm.
