Clear strike with manuscript "13 Septr" date added on back of folded letter and applied in transit, datelined "Bedford, April 7th, 1834" and sent from England to Calcutta, forwarded to Dacca and Charra, Calcutta (Sept. 10) backstamp, Calcutta ship letter handstamp, cover with some minor splitting along folds and light overall soiling, Very Fine, this strike was used on mail which went from military to civilian post offices
