1836: H.G.6: Letter from DACCA [13 June] to LONDON [9 Nov.] Inland postage prepaid at DACCA 4 as.This handstamp: A late example of "DACCA POST PAID / 18" despatch stamp, altered in 1821 to include a double oval frame. The other stamp is a transit mark of "CALCUTTA/G.P.O./SHIP LETTER/15 JU 15/1836". Giles shown cancellation with year incorporated in it, while this shows no year incorporated.
