INTERNAL MAIL INC. OVAL "DACCA/+POST.PAID+", BOXED "NEEMUCH/Paid" & 2-ring "GHAZEEPORE FULL POST Pd."; 1826-39 covers inc. Mar. 1829 EL (slight toning) to Calcutta with beautiful strike of the scarce double-oval "DACCA/+POST PAID+" mark with ms date, 1826 EL to Madras with partial but very rare 2-ring "GHAZEEPORE FULL POST Pd." with ms "13as" in centre [ex H. Giles; full typescript], 1828/9 pair ex Calcutta to Assam with "G.P.O./Pt. Pd." ds (one redirected back to Calcutta & so also with oval "G.P.O./Bg.Pg." ds), and May 1839 EL to Calcutta with fine red boxed "NEEMUCH/Paid [15ans]" ds (short seal tear), and long hastily written 8 July 1842 letter (no wrapper) from Lucknow concerning diplomatic moves with the "King of Oude" etc. (would repay careful deciphering).
