1828, entire letter datelined 9 June sent London to Calcutta, endorsed “p. Columbia”, showing on back boxed “Inld Ptge 10/Ship Do 4/(2) As 14” Giles type CS 10 handstamp and large circular Calcutta GPO in red type CG 20. Also on back is forwarding notation “Forw’ded by Dan Willink, Liverpool June 14th 1828”. A very attractive letter with clearly struck postmarks on reverse, part of the back flap is missing and some paper splitting to internal correspondence.
