Superb strike of double-circle datestamp with manuscript "23, (181)7, Novr" date added on folded letter to London, England, sender's directive "Montest", framed "SHIP LETTER" handstamp, London May 1, 1818 arrival backstamp, Very Fine, a scarce strike only in use from Jun. 1816 to Nov. 1819, seldom found in this quality
