Feldman description: 1840 Folded cover from Calcutta to London bearing an exquisite strike of the "Care of / Mr. Waghorn / Suez" type 3 handstamp, red boxed accountancy marking on reverse detailing "Steam Postage 9a", Inland Do. 7a", left Calcutta on March 2nd, LONDON 8 MY 1840 arrived, a wonderful example of this rare marking, picture on p.40 of Bernhard Koch's book (1987).
