Description

1826-36 Group of six entires including four incoming with 1826 entire from Bath to Calcutta, further 1826 entire to Government house, Calcutta, 1833 entire to Bengal, redirected to Mhow and 1836 entire to Calcutta carried by “Duke of Buccleugh”, all four with unframed PAID SHIP LETTER/ Crown/ LONDON, then 1834 outer letter sheet without despatch markings handed directly to the ship’s captain and landed at Falmouth with very fine handstamp, and 1826 (April 15) entire written from Chittagong with good strike framed “INDIA LETTER / DEAL” handstamp, good condition with some interesting content.
